Earth’s Nutrition Story
My experience with Earth’s Nutrition super green foods started when I was cleansing and detoxing. I took at least one scoop three times a day while fighting the cancer. When I noticed that a healing crisis (the body expelling toxins causes flu-like symptoms) was taking place, I would increase the amount of Earth’s Nutrition to speed up the process. This combination of super green foods helped me regain nutritional balance, and mental stability and strengthen my immune system. I continue to take at least four scoops throughout the day to maintain a high level of health and well-being.
The numerous reported benefits of green foods are based on scientific research, the clinical results of healthcare practitioners, and the testimonials of real people. The following benefit statements about super green foods have not been evaluated by the FDA.
A Long Time Ago
More than 35 billion years ago, some of these green food algae were the first form of photosynthetic life. Spirulina and its cousins often are referred to as ‘whole foods’ or ‘green super foods’ because they contain a complete nutritional profile, not merely one or two biologically active components.
The ingredients in Earth’s Nutrition like spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, and barley grass are some of the easiest and best sources of nutrition available. Some variations of these ancient seaweeds and grasses can be found nearly everywhere on the globe, and their use as a source of concentrated nutrition is one of the most ancient plant/human relationships on Earth.
Earth’s Nutrition is loaded with antioxidants. Antioxidants, nature’s warriors against free radicals, which contribute to disease and the aging process, are found in most plants as phytonutrients. Phytonutrients protect plants from the toxins and oxidative damage that would shorten their lifespan. Because green superfoods are whole plants, not targeted supplements, they contain large quantities of these phytonutrients, thus conferring the plants’ antioxidant properties onto their consumers.
Some Of The Ingredients
The ingredients in Earth’s Nutrition appear to have a chelating (heavy metal-cleansing) action within the body. This intriguing factor of the chlorophyll in superfoods appears to act as a magnet for toxins within the body, actually drawing them to itself and neutralizing them. This is especially effective for heavy metals in the body, and spirulina and chlorella, in particular, are effective blood cleaners.
Green foods in Earth’s Nutrition also thin the blood. A study conducted at Taipei Medical University in Taipei, Taiwan, discovered that an element of spirulina, phycocyanin, works not only to inhibit free radical production but also to prevent blood platelet aggregation, thus preventing blood clots. This study supports green foods’ anecdotal use as a ‘blood thinner,’ as it appears that spirulina and its cousins actually help the blood to move more easily through the body.

Below are just a few of the ingredients and benefits of Earth’s Nutrition
Wheatgrass
One of the greatest proponents of the cereal grasses and one of my heroes is Dr. Ann Wigmore founder of the Hippocrates Health Institute in Boston. Suffering from a number of health problems, including colon cancer, and crushed legs from a car accident. doctors told her that the legs would have to come off. Ann said ‘no’ and went home remembering that her grandmother had assisted wounded soldiers during the First World War with cereal grasses like wheat and barley. She tried the remedy of growing the Wheatgrass in her back yard and it worked; her legs healed and the colon cancer was cured. From that point on Ann became a Naturopath assisting people with incurable diseases. One of her books is ‘The Wheatgrass Book’.
Barley Grass
In ancient Rome, the gladiators were called hordearii or barley men because they consumed so much of this grain just before entering the amphitheaters to battle their opponents. Many of today’s top athletes use this superfood to increase their endurance and strength. Today those who wish to develop finer physical physiques through strenuous exercise should consider adding barley in whole grain and juice powdered form to their diets.
Alfalfa
Nutritionally some modern herbalists call alfalfa the “Big Daddy of them all” because alfalfa is so well-rounded in the vitamins and minerals that it can supply to the body. The vitamin and mineral-rich juice that is extracted from alfalfa is called Chlorophyll; chlorophyll is almost identical to human hemoglobin and has been used by Naturopaths and some religious groups before, during, and after operations.
Spinach
The creators of Popeye knew what they were doing when they used Spinach as their source of strength, though canned is a poor source of Spinach. One cup of fresh Spinach is a nutritional powerhouse containing these important vitamins and minerals: Vitamins A 4,460 IU, C 28 mg., biotin 3.5 mg., E 1.25 mg., magnesium 44 mg., manganese .42 mg., zinc 0.5 mg. Minerals: calcium 51 mg., phosphorus 28 mg., iron 1.7 mg., sodium 39 mg., potassium 259 mg. The chlorophyll along with the vitamins and minerals cleanse and build the body by stimulating and toning the liver, gall bladder, kidneys, blood and lymph systems, and the large intestine (colon).
Boost Your Immune System With Spirulina
Spirulina is best known for its ability to boost the immune system, and research indicates it may even help both treat and prevent cancer. Spirulina stimulates the natural killer (NK) cells that fight illness and attack and kill cancerous cells. In one study performed in India, participants taking spirulina saw a complete remission of mouth cancer.
Chlorella
When the chlorella is consumed into the human body, it dramatically increases the rate of rebuilding and healing in tissues and it multiplies the growth rate of the lactobacillus (beneficial bacteria) in the bowel. Chlorella seems to have the ability to rebuild everything necessary for good health.
